TANAN
Tamil Nadu Association in Norway (TANAN) is a non-profit organization established by Tamils currently residing in Norway, originating from the culturally rich South Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
Founding History
In March 2022, a group of five individuals initiated the concept of founding an organization representing the Tamil Nadu diaspora. After further development, the proposal was presented to the community in May 2022, where it was received with broad support. The constitution was formally ratified on 24th September 2022, with three additional members appointed to the board. The organization was officially approved and registered on 24th October 2022.
The Logo
The TANAN logo was unveiled on August 18, 2023. It embodies a harmonious blend of contrasting climates and cultures.
நமது நோர்வே தமிழ்நாடு சங்கத்தின் சின்னத்தை சங்க உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு அறிமுகம் செய்வதில் பெருமை அடைகிறோம். நுண்ணுயிர்களுக்கும் பனி போக்கும் தமிழ்ப்பண்பாட்டு அடையாளங்களில் ஒன்றான கோலமும், கருங்குளிர் கொண்ட வடதுருவத்தின் அழகின் அடையாளங்களில் ஒன்றான வெண்பனித்துகளையும் கலந்து இந்த சின்னம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது
